Dr. Vasavada is an experienced senior Vitreo-Retina specialist, who is a Director at Rays Retina Care Clinic, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Dr. Vasavada attained his M.B.B.S. Degree and did his housemanship from the renowned B J Medical College and Civil hospital, Ahmedabad. He did his M.S.(Master Of Surgery) in Ophthalmology from M & J Western Regional Institute, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
He has undergone 2 years long term Vitreo-Retina surgical fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital-Pondicherry. Aravind Eye Care System (AECS) is a WHO collaborated centre for prevention of blindness with large scale ongoing charity work in Southern India.
He has attained F.A.I.C.O. (Fellow All India Collegium Of Ophthalmology) in the speciality of Vitreo-Retina services.
Dr.Vasavada completed Basic science in Ophthalmology from ICO centre (International Council Of Ophthalmology) London.
He is affiliated with Aakash Eye Hospital since few years – A very well known eye care centre in Ahmedabad and North Gujarat.
Dr. Dhaivat has a vast experience of more than 4,000 Vitreoretina surgeries including complicated cases, as well experience of more than 20,000 Retina procedures including Laser procedures and injections.
